Light showers expected in Delhi
New Delhi July 18 (IANS) It was a cloudy Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius the season s normal the weather office said.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. There is possibility of light rain or thunderstorm towards afternoon or evening " an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius a notch below the normal.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 88 per cent.
On Monday the maximum temperature settled at 36.2 degrees Celsius a notch above normal while minimum was recorded at 29.1 degrees Celsius two degrees above normal.
