Leopard mauls school teacher in Kashmir

Srinagar Aug 23 (IANS) A school teacher was on Wednesday mauled by a leopard in south Kashmir s Pulwama district police said.
School teacher Muhammad Yusuf Mir was attacked while he was on way to school by a female leopard with two cubs in an apple orchard in Rahmoo area of Pulwama district police said.
"The teacher has been shifted to hospital for treatment and a team of wildlife officials has been rushed to the spot to tranquilise the animal before it is moved to its natural habitat " police said.
