Thyroid test during media OPD clinic

Guwahati: The next media OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club on Saturda (25 November) will be conducted by Assam’s best known healthcare institution Dispur Hospital. The clinic,  organized under the series of ‘Evening with a Doctor’ programs for the benefit of press club members along with their dependants, will start at 3 pm and continue till 5 pm.

“Besides free consultations from the practicing physicians along with the screening of their weight & hypertension, the participants will also get the opportunity to check their thyroid levels,” informed Dr Jayanta Bardoloi, managing director of Dispur Hospital.

Launched in August 2016, the series of health camps at the press club premises has helped in diagnosing many media persons with various health complications with alarming high blood pressure & sugar. They were accordingly advised to follow necessary healthy guidelines.

Till date, physicians from Apollo Chennai Hospital, Chennai SIMS Hospital, Manipal Bangalore Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore, Medanta the Medicity Hospital, Down Town Hospital, GNRC Hospitals, Nemcare Hospital, Hayat Hospital, Ayursundra Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First Eye-Clinic, Barthakur Clinic, Wintrobe Hospital etc have attended the camps.-Windowtonews
