Padma Vibhushan cardiologist B.K. Goyal passes away
Mumbai Feb 20 (IANS) Renowned cardiologist B.K. Goyal and Honorary Dean of the Bombay Hospital passed away here at the Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday a family member said. He was 82.
He is survived by his son Rahul Goyal and three daughters -- Sandhya Mittersain Alka Jhunjhunwala and Varsha Sethi.
A former cardiologist to top Indian dignitaries and celebrities he was a former Sheriff of Mumbai and was awarded the Padma Shri Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India.
