Severely-disabled Italian DJ dies in Swiss euthanasia clinic

Rome Feb 27 (IANS/AKI) A blind tetraplegic 39-year-old Italian disc-jockey died after an assisted suicide procedure at a clinic in Switzerland right-to-death activist Marco Cappato said on Monday.
Fabo died at 11.40 am. He chose to leave this world respecting the rules of a country that is not his Cappato announced on Twitter
I will thank Marco until my death DJ Fabo whose real name was Fabiano Antoniani said in recorded message published Monday on Facebook.
He was left severely disabled after a car crash in Milan on June 13 2014.
Euthanasia which is strongly opposed by the Catholic Church remains illegal in Italy.
