Haryana's corona recovery rate 56.7pc: Health Minister

Chandigarh, April 21 (IANS) With 56.7 per cent recovery rate against 16.38 per cent of all-India rate of coronavirus cases, Haryana is moving fast towards normalcy, state Health Minister Anil Vij said on Tuesday."There are 108 active COVID-19 patients as on today in Haryana with the death rate is 0.79 per cent against 3.15 per cent of national," Vij said in a tweet.Vij said in the state, tests per million of population were 548 against national figure of 304, while the case doubling rate was 13.15 days against 7.5 days at the national level.As per the state's medical bulletin on Tuesday, with the death of two patients in the state, 142 patients were either recovered or discharged. The discharged patients comprised 14 Italians.
