Telangana reports six new cases, 42 recoveries

Hyderabad, April 28 (IANS) Continuing the downward trend in Covid-19 cases, Telangana on Tuesday reported only six cases.

With this the state's tally rose to 1,009. All the six cases were reported from Greater Hyderabad.

Health Minister Eatala Rajender told reporters that there were no fatalities on Tuesday. The death toll remains at 25.

He also announced that 42 persons were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of persons recovered and discharged to 374.

Currently, 610 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
