Air India flies in 157 passengers to Chennai from Dhaka

Chennai, May 14 (IANS) An Air India flight carrying 157 passengers from Dhaka, Bangladesh landed at the Chennai International Airport on Thursday.The flight is part of the Vande Bharat Mission of the Indian government to bring back the Indians stranded overseas due to Covid-19 pandemic.Out of the total passengers 121 were male and 36 were female.After smooth clearance by the Chennai Airport Customs the passengers were taken to quarantine centres.
