8 more doctors of Punjab medical college test Covid positive

Chandigarh, July 14 (IANS) Eight doctors of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital in Punjab's Faridkot town on Tuesday tested Covid-19 positive, taking the total doctors who got infected there within a week to 11.Civil Surgeon Rajinder Kumar said eight doctors, a staff nurse and a ward boy, all belonging to the medical college's orthopaedic department, were tested positive.Deputy Commissioner Vimal Kumar Setia was also home quarantined after his mother tested positive. All the doctors were asymptomatic but tested positive, Kumar added.
