Murshidabad TMC legislator tests Covid-19 positive

Kolkata, July 16 (IANS) Md Akhruzzaman, an MLA of West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), tested Covid-19 positive on Thursday.According to sources, MLA from Murshidabad's Raghunathganj constituency, was shifted to a private hospital, here, after his test report came.Akhruzzaman was not keeping well since Sunday. He had fever and other Covid-19 symptoms, and had gone for home quarantine. His wife, children and other family members are awaiting their Covid-19 test reports. They have also been shifted to Kolkata.Meanwhile, the Murshidabad Zila Parishad office was sealed for 10 days, till July 26, after an employee tested Covid-19 positive on Wednesday. He has been admitted to the district corona hospital.
