Zen Hospital honoured by Maharashtra government
Mumbai June 27 (IANS) Zen Hospital -- the first in Maharashtra to start 3D laparoscopic surgery -- was on Tuesday announced as the best centre for Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Maharashtra by the state government.
Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis handed over the award to the hospital s director Roy Patankar.
Zen Hospital is India s first to receive a fellowship for minimal access surgery by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
It is the only hospital to have 3D laparoscopic surgery 4K image enhancement surgery and specially required laparoscopic cancer surgery.
