Services on Delhi Metro s Red Line partially affected

New Delhi July 1 (IANS) Passengers using the Delhi Metro s Red Line on Saturday had a tough time due to a snag on the corridor connecting Kashmere Gate and Sashtri Park officials said.

The problem was reported around 12.15 p.m.

Train services on Line-1 were affected from 12.15 p.m to 1.10 p.m due to some problem reported in one of the components of overhead wires between Kashmere Gate and Sashtri Park said a statement from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.

The dropper was repaired by controlling movement on the down line between these two stations leading to minor delay of services during this period.

Normal train services on the entire line was restored at 1.10 p.m after undertaking the necessary repair work the statement added.
