Medanta Hospital launches child care facility

Gurugram Aug 17 (IANS) Medanta - The Medicity has launched state-of-the-art pediatrics department to provide quality child care the hospital said on Thursday.

The new department inaugurated on Wednesday offers a bouquet of facilities such as General Pediatrics Pediatric Critical Care Pediatrics Neuroscience Pediatric Surgery Urology etc.

"Our focus has always been to provide the best medical treatment with an emphasis on bringing the world class care to the patients in Gurugram and neighbouring cities " Sunit Singhi Chairman (Department of Pediatrics) at Medanta-The Medicity said in a statement.

"The launch of pediatrics department will help in securing child s health and offers state of the art complete care to children with critical illness " Singhi added.

The new department will function in sync with the existing pediatrics specialties at the hospital namely cardiac sciences oncology (including BMT) orthopedics gastroenterology nephrology and endocrinology.

The opening of new pediatrics department will help patients from neighbouring regions like Manesar Hisar Bhiwani and Jhajjar apart from Delhi and Faridabad get the best medical facility the statement said.
