Odisha Governor in hospital after chest pain
Bhubaneswar Oct 19 (IANS) Odisha Governor S.C. Jamir was on Thursday hospitalized after he complained of chest pain.
The 86-year-old was taken to Apollo Hospital here as he also faced discomfort while eating hospital sources said.
Apollo Cardiology specialist Prasant Kumar Sahoo said although the condition of the Governor was stable he was under observation.
He will be discharged tomorrow if his condition improves the doctor added.
Jamir a five-time Chief Minister of Nagaland became the Governor in Odisha in March 2013. He had also served as the Governor of Maharashtra Gujarat and Goa.
