Class 11 student killed in Panchkula brawl

Panchkula (Haryana) Sep 17 (IANS) A Class 11 student was fatally stabbed on Monday in a brawl between two groups of youths in Haryana s Panchkula city adjoining Chandigarh police said.
Vikas Kumar was stabbed in the chest by his attackers outside the Government Senior Secondary School in Sector 7 here following a tiff with the rival group s youths suspected to be from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the city.
A Class 10 student Suraj tried to save Vikas but was also stabbed in the hand. Both were rushed to the Sector 6 General Hospital where doctors declared Vikas dead.
The attackers fled after committing the crime police said.
