Haryana prohibits forced requisition of school buses for rallies
Chandigarh March 10 (IANS) The Haryana government on Friday prohibited the use of school buses of private schools for political rallies.
The use of force or coercive methods on managements of private schools to send their buses for the purpose of rallies shall be prohibited henceforth said a circular issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home department.
The buses of private schools would not be requisitioned for rallies and other purposes except in accordance with law.
Earlier authorities used to force schools and other institutions to send their buses for ferrying people for political rallies.
