Pakistan facing shortage of 36,000 PhDs
Islamabad April 28 (IANS) Pakistan is facing a shortage of 36 000 PhDs an independent body that overseas the country s higher education efforts said in a report published on Friday.
There is a shortage of 36 000 PhDs. The government must increase budget for higher education to meet such challenges the Dawn quoted Federal Higher Education Commission Chairman Mukhtar Ahmed as saying.
