April 12 (WTN)- The Supreme Court in February delivered its verdict in the decades-old Cauvery water dispute, allocating more water to the state of Karnataka. The top court ordered the Karnataka government to release 177.25 tmcft of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.

The people of Tamil Nadu are upset on courts verdict and blame the Modi government for not doing anything in this matter.Although, the government has to go by courts order.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting to Tamilnadu today to inaugurate the 10th edition of Defence Expo, DefExpo-2018 in Chennai at Tiruvidanthal, in Kancheepuram district.
