Late Veteran actor Vinod Khanna awarded DadaSaheb Phalke Award, ‘Bahubali’ Most Popular Film
65th National Film Awards announced today, Sridevi was posthumously awarded as Best Actress for her 300th movie ‘Mom’. At the same time, Rajkumar Rao's 'Newton' selected for Best Hindi Film. In this, Pankaj Tripathi has been given special award for acting. Bahubali- the conclusions announced as best popular film. While announcing the awards in Delhi on Friday, Chairman of the Committee, Shekhar Kapoor said that Vinod Khanna will award Dadasaheb Phalke Award posthumously.

Best film Newton was released on September 22, 2017 directed by Amit Masurkar. Rajkumar Rao was in lead role in this film. The film was centric on government clerk, who makes a lot of effort to get free and fair elections in the naxal affected areas. Newon also got an entry for the Oscars from India.
