CWG 2018- All-India battle for Gold in badminton

April 14 (WTN)- India stands third with 47 medals- 20 gold, 13 silver and 14 bronze as of now.
Mary Kom won India’s first gold medal in boxing when she won the women’s 48 kg final at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. Gaurav Solanki too won a gold in men’s 52 kg. Amit Phangal and Manish Kaushik lost their respective finals to settle for silver medals.
Shooter Sanjeev Rajput then clinched the silver in men’s 50m rifle 2 positions. India will be hoping to continue their medal rush on the penultimate day of the Games on Day 11 of the event.
It is going to be an all-India battle for gold as PV Sindhu joins Saina Nehwal in the Finals. Gold and silver assured in Badminton Women’s Singles!
