A lot of questions have arisen after a statement by the CEO of “NITI AAYOG” Amitabh Kant. “NITI AAYOG” CEO Amitabh Kant had said on Monday that the southern and western states of India are progressing, but due to states, like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Bihar, india is backward.
After this statement of Amitabh Kant, it is imperative to raise the question because most of the states mentioned by Amitabh Kant have BJP government. BJP is in government in Rajasthan from December 2013, in Madhya Pradesh from November 2003, in Uttar Pradesh from March 2017 and in Chhattisgarh from December 2003. At the same time, Bihar has a BJP coalition government since last few months. If Amitabh Kant raises questions on these states, then BJP governments of these states have a question mark.
In fact, Amitabh Kant is not the first person who has questioned the backwardness of these Hindi-speaking states, from time to time several commissions and committees have raised questions on the development of these states. These states have also been called the "BIMARU" state. "BIMARU" means BI stands for BIHAR, MA stands for MADHYA PRADESH, R stands to RAJASTHAN and U to UTTAR PRADESH.
The statement of Amitabh Kant can be raised by the opposition, especially by congress in upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and it can surround the BJP that for many years you(BJP) have government in these states, then for the backwardness of these states BJP is only responsible.
If this issue arises in the assembly elections in these states, then the BJP and especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP's national president Amit Shah will find it difficult to answer why these states are backward even after years of BJP rule.
