On 31 December, we will perhaps have a little madness of the Heart mingle with the feeling of seeing off 2016 with gloom of memories and excitement up to explosions to welcome 2017.

 

Adios 2016  is our addition to overseeing the events lined up and happened in the year  2016.  Adios 2016 a bit funny, incisive and powerful year in a happening of series.There is nothing more a-chalant when half the year passed with  jokes and  jokes on social media websites followed by any of the significant events, on every single details which marked the year.

Enough’s enough of Adios 2016 and to welcome 2017, we bring to you the major time line events of 2016 which will be always recalled while glancing back at 2016.2016 , a leap year, a summer Olympics year, Kumbh Mela ,a U.S. presidential election year, roller coaster to Indian economy Demonetization 2016 was not less of  the international year of pulses.

 

Non-Nuclear Aggression Agreemen India and Pakistan

The Non-nuclear aggression agreement is a bilateral and nuclear weapons control treaty between the two South Asian states, India and Pakistan, on the reduction (or limitation) of nuclear arms and pledged not to attack or assist foreign powers to attack on eachs nuclear installations and facilities. On 1 January 2016 , The Indian and Pakistani governments provided one another with a full list of nuclear sites, military and civilian, in accordance with the 1988 Non-Nuclear Aggression Agreemen.

 

Kumbh Mela or Simhastha :  India (UJJain)

Simhastha is one of the four fairs traditionally recognized as Kumbha Melas, and is also known as Ujjain Kumbh Mela. Ujjain Simhastha is a Hindu religious mela held every 12 years in the Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh, IndiaAccording to Hindu mythology, Vishnu dropped drops of amrita (the drink of immortality) at four places, while transporting it in a kumbha (pot). These four places, including Ujjain, are identified as the present-day sites of the Kumbh Mela.“Kumbh” in its literal English translation means “Pot”, which emerged from “Samudra Manthan”(Churning of the Ocean) between Gods and Devils.

This year 2016 was a leap year .

Down to the Gregorian calendars disparity with the solar system.A complete orbit of the earth around the sun takes exactly 365.2422 days to complete, but the Gregorian calendar uses 365 days.So leap seconds - and leap years - are added as means of keeping our clocks (and calendars) in sync with the Earth and its seasons.

 Juno to Jupiter

Juno is a NASA space probe orbiting the planet Jupiter. It was built by Lockheed Martin and is operated by NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The spacecraft was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on August 5, 2011 (UTC), as part of the New Frontiers program, and entered a polar orbit of Jupiter on July 5, 2016 (UTC),to begin a 20-month scientific investigation of the planet.

Demonitisation India

The demonetisation of ?500 and ?1000 banknotes was a policy enacted by the Government of India on 8 November 2016. All ?500 and ?1000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series ceased to be legal tender in India from 9 November 2016.

The announcement was made by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in an unscheduled live televised address at 20:15 Indian Standard Time (IST) on 8 November.In the announcement, Modi declared that use of all ?500 and ?1000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series would be invalid from midnight of the same day and announced the issuance of new ?500 and ?2000banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi New Series in exchange for the old banknotes. However, the banknote denominations of ?100, ?50, ?20, ?10 and ?5 of the Mahatma Gandhi Series remained legal tender and were unaffected by the policy.

 Jubilee Year of Mercy, Rome, Italy

The Vatican is celebrated  an extraordinary Holy Year, from December 2015 to November 2016. The historic event  commenced with the opening of the Holy Door in St Peter’s Basilica on the 8th December 2015, the day of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, and the event will conclude on the 20th November 2016 with the Solemnity of  Lord Jesus Christ.
