Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of development. In one of the subsequent tweets, Digvijay Singh told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get advice from Sonia Gandhi. Actually, there are so chaos after the statement of the CEO of the NITI AYOG, Amitabh Kant, in which he had said that the country was lagging behind due to backward states like Madhya Pradesh.
Digvijay Singh said in after his one-to-one tweet that during the UPA ruling government, through BGRF(Backward Region Grant Fund), a lot of money was provided to many backward states including Madhya Pradesh but the BJP government stopped it. Not only that, Digvijay Singh said that the Government of India and BJP-ruled states had reduced the budget for education and health. Digvijay Singh, while targeting the BJP, said that tribals, Dalits and poor are not primary for BJP.
Digvijay Singh further wrote that he is happy that Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI AAYOG, discussed India's poverty and HDI. But will he convince the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister to give these backward states and Odisha more budget for health and education? Digvijay Singh said that he has doubts because it might not be in the prime minister's priority.
While targeting Modi's Gujarat model, Digvijay Singh said that this may not be possible because it is not a Gujarat model of development and the prime minister does not know any other model. Digvijay Singh advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that Modi should learn something from Sonia Gandhi's development model.
Digvijay Singh said that if PM Modi should talk with Sonia Gandhi about this issue that how to develop the country's HDI, especially in the field of health, education, poverty reduction and employment generation. While targeting Prime Minister Modi, Digvijay Singh said that probably Prime Minister will not do this because he is very egoistic.
After completing his Narmada Yatra, Digvijay Singh has directly attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi with this tweet bomb. With these tweets, Digvijay Singh attacked on many targets. Digvijay Singh, firstly with the aim of targeting the BJP for backwardness of Madhya Pradesh, then targeted Prime Minister Modi. Due to his statements Digvijay Singh has shown that he is still close to "10 Janpath". Until Madhya Pradesh assembly elections will go on, Digvijay Singh will continue to do sharp attacks through statements on the BJP, for which the BJP has to be ready.
