The coming few months are very important in the politics of Madhya Pradesh. Both the BJP and the Congress have taken a stand for assembly elections. In BJP, Jabalpur MP Rakesh Singh is new president before the assembly elections, while Nandkumar Singh Chauhan's tenure was not completed. In the last assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Congress had never contested the election by placing the Chief Minister candidate in front. It is being speculated that this time also the Congress will contest the elections without projecting the CM Candidate.
