Is JDS in King maker position ?
MAY 02(WTN) - Is there former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda is king maker in upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections? We are saying this because, according to opinion Poll, no party will get a full majority in the Karnataka assembly elections. If both the BJP and the Congress do not get the majority, then in the case of a hung Assembly, will the Dewad Gowda’s party JDS play the role of King Maker.

BJP is keen toward Deve Gowda
During campaigning in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has targeted the Congress in gestures, that the Congress did not give inclination to former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, whereas he personally respected Deve Gowda. Karnataka has the Assembly election on 12th of this month. For the last five years Karnataka has a Congress government. Due to the anti-incumbency factor, it is believed that this time the Congress government could not form the government. In this case if Congress not getting no majority, the BJP is not strong enough at this time in Karnataka to come to power in its own right. In such a situation, if both parties need for a few seats for the majority, it would not be possible to form a government in Karnataka without the support of HD Deve Gowda's JDS.

Cast politics will play main role.
Caste based politics is the reality of India. In Karnataka, caste equations will also affect the assembly elections. Lingayat's population is close to 18 percent in Karnataka. At the same time, 15 percent of the population belongs to the Vokkulgana community. Therefore, the influence of Lingayat and Vokkaligga has always been in the state of Karnataka state. In the Karnataka assembly elections, the JDS has coalition with Mayawati's BSP. You know that the influence of the BSP is in the Dalits and about 20% of the Dalits in Karnataka. Therefore, JDS will prove to be a major role in the Karnataka elections. Because if JDS is in the condition as King Maker, it may be again the Chief Minister of JDS in Karnataka.
