Hotline service between India and China's armies.
MAY 02(WTN) - A very positive initiative has come to the fore after the meeting of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to the information, there has been an agreed agreement on the pending proposal for establishing a hotline between army headquarters between the Indian and Chinese forces. According to China's daily news paper Global Times, leaders of the two countries have allegedly agreed to set up a hotline between their own military headquarters. A few days ago it was agreed after the talks between India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuhan.
Tension on the border.
Tensions remain on the border between India and China for years. Therefore, the idea of creating a hotline between both the military headquarters is very important in itself. With the introduction of the hotline, the talks between the patrol parties between the 3488-km long Line of Actual Control (LAC) of both the countries will be possible to prevent tensions.
Historical Initiatives of India and China.
Last year the Indian Army had stopped the Chinese army from road construction work in the disputed area. After which the dispute started from June 16 to 28th August between the two countries. The disputed area is Doklam considers Bhutan as its share while China is its own. There is a long conversation for the hotline facility between India and China, but there are many issues that could not be agreed on. One issue is that at which level the hotline can be set up in the headquarters. If the hotline is established between India and China's armies, then it will be a historic step for peace of both the countries.
