May 05 (WTN) - “Gulshan Kumar” was born on “May 5, 1951”. Gulshan Kumar gave a new identity to “music”. His full name was “Gulshan Kumar Dua”. After living a struggling life, he gained a special position with his music and passion for it. On his birthdays, we are telling you some stories related to his life.
In the initial times, Gulshan Kumar used to run juice shop at “Dariaganj market” in Delhi with his father. After leaving this job, he opened a cassette shop in Delhi where he used to sell cassettes of songs in lower prices.
After this, he opened his own “audio cassette operation” named as “SUPER CASSETTE INDUSTRY”. After that, he opened his own music production company in “Noida” and later shifted to “Mumbai”.
Through the “T-series cassette” Gulshan Kumar has done the work of bringing music to most of the houses. After his demise, his son “Bhushan Kumar” and daughter “Tulsi Kumar” took his business over their shoulders. “T-Series” is still the most famous music production company.
Gulshan Kumar also showed his generosity, who was connected with the land. He donated a part of his wealth to social service. He established a still-room in “Vaishno Devi” which still provides food for pilgrims.
Gulshan Kumar was among the “highest taxpayers” in the period of 1992-93. It is believed that Gulshan had refused to bow to the demand for extortion of Mumbai underworld, which led to his murder. Gulshan was shot dead on “August 12, 1997”, outside a temple in “Mumbai”.
A film based on the life of Gulshan Kumar is also going to be created. The name of the film is named “Mogul”. According to the information the casting actor was “Akshay Kumar” for Gulshan's first role, but perhaps he is no longer part of the film, and the suspicion of the movie is still there.
