Mount Kailash An Ancient Pyramid?

Monday - May 7, 2018 1:14 pm , Category : WTN SPECIAL

May 7 (WTN)- Mt Kailash or Kailash Parvat as it is known in Indian parlance, is a mountain of high reverence and obeisance since it is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva worshipped by millions of people in India and abroad.

But if Russian scientists led by researcher Prof ER Muldasheva are to be believed, Kailash is not actually a mountain but manmade pyramid. Devotees of Shiva and Tibetan religious cults have always believed in the mysterious powers of the Kailash and the occult occurrences associated with it. Situated in Tibet, Mt Kailash has a unique shape and pattern which bears little or no semblance to the mountains around.

It is a huge mountain block rising to over 6,700 metres and is surrounded by what the scientists call, 100 smaller pyramids rising up to 1,800 metres which are a deliberate and planned construction. The nearly symmetrical looking mountain has almost perpendicular sidewalls, falling drastically from a great height, which lends the mountain its unique shape, which is being believed can’t be a natural phenomenon unless someone has worked upon it with clockwork precision.

The stones are also of slightly different shades in different layers which strengthens the belief. From a distance, it looks like a striking snow-capped cathedral. Scientists believe that centuries ago there might have been an advanced human civilisation in the area with great knowledge of science and engineering which led to the development of such n ordained construction. If it is really a pyramid, then Kailash has to be the largest pyramid ever made by man, much larger than the ones in Egypt or larger than any human construction for that matter.

The findings of 1999 vindicated people’s beliefs and gave a new direction to the study of Kailash. The region around the mountain is a source to four major rivers viz: Sutlej, Ganges, Brahmaputra and Karnali. The famous Mansarovar Lake, one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world lies in the vicinity of Kailash while another lake Rakhast Tal (one of the highest saltwater lake) is close by. The two lakes represent solar and lunar forces, or good and negative energies respectively that affect human thoughts and faculties.

It is not advisable to go too near to the holy mountain because of certain forces which make time pass fast.  A person ages rapidly if he goes close and many have never returned once they have travelled to Kailash. It has been found that people have grown long hair and long nails by staying close to the hill even for 5-6 days, such are its mysterious powers.

Devotees believe there is a secret entrance at the base of the mountain wherein great seers mediate and achieve moksha. More studies, if taken up by experts in the right earnest may add on to the Russian study and reveal newer and more interesting things which would locate and testify the origin of the mountain and its real powers.
