Once again Putin in Russia.
MAY 08(WTN) - Vladimir Putin has sworn in as the President of Russia for the fourth time. Putin had completed nearly two decades in the Russian administration. After taking oath, he resolved to make the country strong. Putin's fourth term of six years has begun since Monday. While swearing in the name of constitution of Russia, Putin said, "Russia, to do all possible work for its present and future, I consider my duty and goal of my life." Let you know that Vladimir Putin has been in power since 1999. In the general elections held in March this year, he got 76.7 percent of the votes. Putin thanked to the people of Russia for their support and love. Putin said, "We have revived the pride of our native land." He said, "As the President of the country, I will make every effort to increase the strength and prosperity of Russia."Significantly, Putin's fourth term as President of Russia has begun in the background of a very tense relationship with the West and the action against the Opposition.

Eyes on Putin.
Just a few days ago, about 1,600 protesters including opposition leader Alexei Navalny were detained. These people were protesting against Putin across the country. The European Union has criticized the actions of the police. Russia's president had separated Crimea from Ukraine during his previous tenure in 2014 and started a military campaign in Syria in favor of President Bashar al-Assad. Putin promised to improve the quality of life of people in Russia during his new tenure. However, Putin has not given any indication regarding his successor, although it is clear that after the completion of his fourth term, Putin can not contest the presidential election in 2024 due to constitutional obligations.

Putin is Important for India.
Putin's becoming the president of Russia is important in terms of India. There is a great harmony between Modi and Putin. On the issue of Pakistan and China, India needs a trusted friend who can cooperate with India on the international level time to time. But it is true that Russia is an ambitious country and Russia will look after its interests first. In addition to India, Russia's interest is also from Pakistan and China, in such a way that Modi will try to make consensus with Putin. The relations between India and Russia have been related to the time of the cold war. In such a situation, India will have to strengthen friendship with Russia on the basis of its old relations, so that Russia will help India for the permanent membership in the Security Council and for the other issues.
