Love words- In USA, addressing kids or spouse as ‘sweet-heart’ or ‘honey’ is very common. In India, such love words are uncommon within the family.

Children working for pocket money- In USA, many parents allow their kids to work for earning their pocket money. In India, parents never prefer their kids to work, and it is considered low in society.

Job: In USA, people do not mind working for small organization or start-ups. In India , the preference always goes for government jobs or public limited companies.

18 years and out - Indian parents pay for their kids till the kid gets a 9-5 job. They pay for everything. In USA, when the kids turn 18, usually they are on their own.

Work Culture – In USA, peoples leave the office as per the time schedule. In India, subordinates usually remain in office till the time their boss is in office. In USA, first-name culture is followed, whereas in India ‘ Sir' or 'Jee' as a prefix is usually used for people above the hierarchy.
In USA, people prefer to work for 40-45 hours in a week, with a few instances when one is required to stretch beyond those. In India, working for more number of hours is considered better even though it is not a compulsion.

Shaking hands with opposite gender -  In many parts of India, shaking hands or hugging a opposite gender does not exist. Even in professional environment it is not very common. In USA, shaking hands or hugging opposite gender is normal and not unusual.
