No relax in excise duty on petrol and diesel.

Excise duty will not be reduced on petrol and diesel.
MAY 19(WTN) - You are facing trouble by the prices of petrol and diesel being hiked day by day, and you are thinking that if the government is going to reduce the excise duty on petrol and diesel, so you are thinking wrong. The government has made it clear that excise duty on petrol and diesel is not going to be reduced. Prices of petrol and diesel remained steady for around 15 days during the Karnataka assembly election. But after the election ended, prices of petrol and diesel started to increase.
Oil companies argued that it was being seen as to what kind of effect is due to changes in the international market. Oil companies time to time increasing petrol and diesel prices, due to this impact common man is facing problems.
Oil companies, including Indian Oil, have been gradually increasing the prices of petrol and diesel for the past five days. For the first time since April 24, the companies had started raising the price of oil on May 14. Oil prices are constantly increasing in the international market. Due to this, prices of petrol and diesel are also increasing in India. Let you know that India imports 80% of its oil requirement.
