Highest price of petrol in Modi government!

Thursday - May 24, 2018 10:36 am , Category : WTN SPECIAL

When Modi government will take action on oil prices?
MAY 24(WTN) - Petrol and diesel prices have increased once again, due to price increasing, there is resentment among the people. The price of petrol and diesel has increased for the 11th day on a continuous basis. Petrol prices have increased by 30 paise per liter. The Modi government has been showing signs of reduction in petrol and diesel prices since three days, but nothing has been done so far. Petrol in Delhi has reached its highest level of 77 rupees 47 paise per liter.

Today the price of petrol in Delhi is 77 rupees 47 paise, in Kolkata 80 rupees 12 paise, in Mumbai 84 rupees 99 paise and in Chennei 80 rupees 11 paise per liter. Diesel price in Delhi is 68 rupees 53 paise, in Kolkata 71 rupees 08 paise, in Mumbai 72 rupees 96 rupees, and in Chennai,72 rupees 35 paise per liter. The impact of the increasing in the price of diesel falls directly on your pocket. Due to the cost of transport, the daily commodity prices are expected to be expensive.

Let you know, that the Center and the state governments are charging around 40 rupees taxes on per liter petrol. That is, the government is charging more than the cost of petrol. According to the information, the dealer is now buying one liter petrol for Rs 37.65. Dealer is charging three rupees 63 paise on this for his commission. 19 rupees 48 paise, excise duty is being charged on petrol and 16 rupees 41 paise VAT is being charged. In this case, about 39 rupees 52 paise is being levied on one liter petrol.

Petrol and diesel were never sold so much costly in Delhi in the history of India as much as costly selling in Modi government tenure. In Delhi, the most expensive petrol was sold on 14 September 2013 in Manmohan Singh's government, and then the price of petrol was 76 rupees and six paise. In the last four years, Modi Government has increased the excise duty 9 times, and more than 3,10,000 crores have been filled up in its treasury. Today the government is neither reducing excise duty nor trying to consolidated petrol and diesel in the GST. In such a situation, it is natural to arise questions on the government's efforts.
