When will former CM’s of UP vacant their government accommodation?
MAY 24 (WTN) - In India, politicians may not look interested to follow the Supreme Court order correctly. We are saying this because even after the Supreme Court order, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav is not ready to leave his official bungalow in Lucknow. According to the information, Mulayam Singh Yadan has now written a letter to the state property department seeking two years' time. After the Supreme Court order, the Uttar Pradesh State property department has issued notices to all the former chief ministers to vacate the official bungalow. Not only Mulayam Singh Yadav, former chief ministers Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav are also not seen in the mood to vacate government accommodation.
Mulayam Singh Yadav's son and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has also written a letter to the department after getting notice of evacuating the government house. At the same time, BSP Supremo and former Chief Minister Mayawati has also placed a board of ‘Kashiram yadgar vishram sthal’ board at her official residence in Lucknow. Despite the order of the court, these three former chief ministers are not ready to leave the government bungalow.

Now he has asked to the Yogi government to stay in the bungalow, allotted to him, for two years. Mulayam Singh has also sent a letter to the state property department for this.
Former Chief Ministers had a tradition of getting government accommodation for a lifetime in UP. But after the Supreme Court's decision, the former Chief Ministers have to vacate their official accommodation. Three time chief minister of UP Mulayam Singh Yadav has been living in Lucknow's Vikramaditya Road for 23 years. To save his allotted official accommodation, he has also met with the CM Yogi Adityanath.

Mulayam Singh's younger son Pratik Yadav's house is also being built on Vikramaditya Marg. But it may take one year to complete.
