Afghan president replies ‘interesting’ in his tweet on Rashid Khan Performance.
MAY 26(WTN) - Afghanistan's cricket player Rashid Khan has won the hearts of all by performing brilliantly in the second qualifier of the IPL played in Kolkata. Rashid Khan’s performance is so much appreciated that Indian people demanded giving Indian citizenship to Rashid Khan and select him in Indian cricket team. On this, the President of Afghanistan tweeted ‘interesting’ about Rashid Khan tagging India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Hyderabad, batting first in the second qualifier match played at Kolkata's Eden Gardens Stadium in IPL-2018, played fantastic. In the last 10 balls, Rashid Khan scored 34 runs. With the help of magnificent innings of Rashid Khan, Hyderabad scored 174 runs in 7 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing a target of 175 runs for victory, two-time champion Kolkata could score 161 for 9 in 20 overs. In this victory, Rashid Khan proved to be a ‘trump card’ for Hyderabad. Afghanistan's spinner Rashid Khan performed stunning in batting, bowling and in fielding as well. After marvelous batting, Rashid Khan took three important wickets with 19 runs. Not only that, he run out a player in the last over, he took two fantastic catches on the deep mid wicket. After this performance of Rashid Khan, he is being felicitated on social media.
