MAY 30(WTN) - Public is protesting against the price rising of petrol and diesel constantly in India. The people of India believe that in India, the government assesses a lot of tax on petrol and diesel, therefore prices of petrol and diesel are so expensive. There is a tax of about 40 rupees per liter in India. But do you know that there are many countries where there the petrol is costly than to India. Let you know some countries where petrol is being sold expensive comparing to India.
In Hong Kong, the price of petrol and diesel is the highest in the world. The petrol here is 145.11 rupees for a liter. Iceland is second in the list of expensive petrol. The price of petrol here is 144.49 rupees per liter. However, the difference in prices of various oil companies is seen in the country. Oil companies keep oil prices low on some stations.
Norway people pay about Rs.136.94 for a liter of petrol. The price of petrol in the Netherlands is Rs. 132.17 per liter. In Denmark, the price of petrol is higher than any other country in Europe. The price of petrol here is Rs.129.03 per liter. People of Monaco pay Rs 128.65 for a liter of petrol. Petrol in Greece is priced at Rs 128.81 a liter. 56.67% tax being imposed on the fuel here. The people of Israel buy petrol at a price of Rs 127.08 per liter. The price of diesel here is 65 percent more than the average diesel price in the world.
