JUNE 02(WTN) - The stage of ‘political violence’ in West Bengal has started again. There was a time when Trinamool Congress used to blame political violence on the Left parties, but now the Trinamool Congress itself is being accused of political violence. After the Panchayat elections in West Bengal, the term of ‘political killings’ is not being stoppage. Another BJP worker’s body, in Balrampur in Purulia district of West Bengal, got hanging from a pillar of light. Ruling Trinamool Congress workers are being accused of killing of this BJP worker.
The body has been identified as Dulal Kumar, 30, resident of Balrampur, who was a BJP worker. In this village of Purulia district, this is the second murder of BJP worker in three days. Three days ago, the body of a BJP worker was found hanging in a tree in Balrampur in Purulia district.
Politics has got hot in West Bengal after getting the dead body of the BJP worker. After this incident, senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya tweeted that the incident was very embarrassing. At the same time, BJP national president Amit Shah also expressed grief over two days before incident saying, “Deeply hurt by the brutal killing of our young karyakarta, Trilochan Mahato in Balarampur,West Bengal. A young life full of possibilities was brutally taken out under state’s patronage. He was hanged on a tree just because his ideology differed from that of state sponsored goons.
Observing the incidents of political violence in West Bengal, it seems that the control of law and order in Bengal is going down by state government. Earlier, the Left parties were accused of political violence and now Trinamool Congress is facing allegations of violence. If such violence does not stop, then it seems that in the future, the people of West Bengal will be frightened to cast their votes in the elections and contest in elections.
