‘Self controlled’ ATM cum debit card from SBI
JUNE 04 (WTN) – Obviously you use debit card, but to block or stop of your debit card service, you have to contact to the related bank. But now the State Bank of India has given the gift of a new type of card to its users. SBI has introduced an ATM card for its customers; this ATM card can be controlled by customers themselves. The bank is giving this ATM card to its account holders. This facility of SBI will be provided by SBI quick App.
With the quick app of SBI's new ATM card, users can arrange the security of their cards on their smart phones. However, this app can be used only when the app is downloaded by mobile number registered in the bank. First of all, to start this app, you have to register. For this you need to enter the app's registration feature and enter the number on which the app is downloaded. After this your registration will be done.
If your ATM card is lost and you want to block it, then you have to select ATM ‘card blocking’ by visiting the app's ATM cum debit card feature. After entering the last 4 digits of your card, you will have to select on the continent. You will also have to pay some charges for this service. If you want to do this via SMS, you will have to SMS the last 4 digits of the BLOCK space debit card to 567676.
Through the SBI quick App, users can switch their ATM cards ‘on’ or ‘off’ for any ATM machine, pos machine, e-commerce, international and domestic use, For this, you have to go to the app's ATM cum debit card feature and add the last 4 digits of your card and click on ATM card switch ON / OFF. You can then switch on or off by choosing option.
