Vijay Rupani declines Hardik Patel’s statement and claims as ‘rumor’

JUNE 15 (WTN) - The Prime Minister of India belongs from the state of Gujarat. It is natural for everyone to take interest in Gujarat's politics. After Narendra Modi’s become the prime minister, there has been ‘considerable upsurge’ in Gujarat's politics. In the politics of Gujarat, ‘Patel factor’ has been very important. At the time of the Gujarat assembly election, the ‘Patel factor’ was a big issue. But now, a statement from Gujarat's Patidar leader Hardik Patel has created ‘turmoil’ in the politics of Gujarat.

Gujarat's Patidar leader Hardik Patel claimed that as per the way of resignation of Anandiben Patel, the resignation of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has also been taken and it will be approved in the next 10 days. After this statement from Hardik Patel, there is a possibility of a storm in the politics of Gujarat.

Behind the resignation (as per Hardik Patel) of Vijay Rupani, Hardik Patel has claimed that he (Vijay Rupani) is not able to handle the charge of Gujarat state in the ‘right way’,hence the cabinet had taken resignation from him. Hardik Patel has said that after the resignation of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, a person from Kshatriya or Patidar cast can become the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Hardik Patel claimed that either Pradipsinh Jadeja or Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya to be the Chief Minister of Gujarat after the resignation of Vijay Rupani.

Here, the reports of Gujarat Chief Minister's resignation have been declared as ‘rumor’ by Vijay Rupani. In a conversation with the media, the Chief Minister said that “He (Hardik) is just spreading lies. I am amazed that he has started this kind of rude rhetoric to remain in the media's discussions. Perhaps he is not aware that Chief Minister does not submit his resignation in the cabinet, rather he gives his resignation to governor in Raj Bhavan.”

It is believed that there will be some ‘meaning’ in this statement of Hardik Patel. Anandiben Patel was suddenly asked to resign and then Vijay Rupani became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, BJP won all the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat. According to sources, BJP is again keen to win all 26 seats in 2019 Lok Sabha election. It is possible that to cash Patel vote bank, any Patel MLA can become the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
