Wait for relief from heat, monsoon gets late in North India

JUNE 18 (WTN) - After the arrival of monsoon prematurely in Kerala, everyone had the hope that soon there will be good rain in the entire south-west monsoon affected area, which will give people relief from heat. But for the heavy rain of south-west monsoon, people of northern India will have to wait longer.

According to the latest estimates of the Meteorological department, the speed of the south-west monsoon for the rain has weakened. Due to the weakness recorded in the monsoon, farmers will now have to wait in North India. However, the Meteorological Department has claimed that in the next 5 to 6 days, once again the speed of monsoon is likely to increase.

It is believed that if this happens then there will be heavy rain in the southern end of the country. On the other hand, there may be strong rain in West Bengal and Maharashtra along with the North East. Also, in some regions of Himachal, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, there will be rain showers with thunderstorms.

According to information from the Meteorological department, the speed of monsoon has been rising from May 28 to June 15. But since 15th June, monsoon speed is getting sluggish. According to the Meteorological department, good rainfall will occur in Orisha and some parts of north-eastern from June 23-24. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Southern Karnataka including in the parts of the peninsula, good rainfall is expected from June 26.

For your information, let you know that the south-west monsoon, responsible for 70 percent of the rain in the country, did not wait this year and had knocked the beaches of Kerala on the southern end three days before the esteemed time. The Meteorological department estimates that the normal and early monsoon will prove to be a boon for this year's kharif crop and also work to strengthen the country's economy. Southwest monsoon is very important for the country's economy of 2.5 trillion dollars. Agricultural experts believe that in the current situation, the impact of monsoon deficit will directly affect kharif sowing in many states. According to the department of Agriculture, due to the collapse of monsoon, farmers in North India will have to wait for sowing.
