Soon rigidly action against terrorists in Jammu Kashmir
JUNE 21 (WTN) - After the fall of the Mehbooba Mufti government in Jammu Kashmir, the governor's rule has begun in the state and simultaneously both the central government and the state government are showing stubbornness against the terrorists and the stone-pelters. It is believed that strategies have been made to teach terrorists and stone-palters a ‘lesson’.In order to carry out this work, senior IAS of Chhattisgarh cadre, BVR Subramanyam has been appointed as the chief secretary of the state while the retired IPS Vijay Kumar has been appointed as the Governor's adviser. IAS BVR Subrahmanyam of 1987 batch has been appointed as the chief secretary of Jammu Kashmir on deputation. BVR Subrahmanyam is considered as a ‘competent officer’. He successfully carried out several major operations against the Maoists. He is especially mastered to demolish the network of Naxalites at the grassroots level. BVR Subramaniam was the preferred officer of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. In the first tenure of Manmohan Singh, Manmohan Singh appointed BVR Subrahmanyam as his personal secretary. After this, Manmohan Singh again reinstated him in 2012 in the post of Joint Secretary in UPA-II.
