JDU claims itself ‘big brother’ in Bihar
JUNE 25 (WTN) - As the Lok Sabha election is coming close; the rivalry between NDA's allies is coming out. While Shiv Sena has been criticizing the policies of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a long time, here JDU in Bihar is also seeking more seats for the 2019 Lok Sabha election form a long time. From time to time, JDU leaders give statement that the Janata Dal United is a ‘big brother’ in Bihar politics, so JDU should contest in more seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Not only that, JDU has so far said that in Bihar, Narendra Modi can’t win election without the support of Nitish Kumar (JDU).
JD (U) leader Sanjay Singh has said, on sharing of seats between BJP and JDU in Bihar for the 2019 Lok Sabha election, that there is a difference between the 2014 and the 2019 Lok Sabha election and the BJP knows that without Nitish Kumar their (BJP) victory will not be easy. For your information, let you know that there are total 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, both the BJP and JDU contested separate. In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, BJP won 22 of the 40 seats in Bihar. At the same time, NDA's ally Lok Janshakti Party won 6 and the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party won 3 seats. While fighting the elections alone, the JDU could win only two seats.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, the way BJP defeated the opposition as result the BJP is in self-confidence. But JDU believes that the circumstances are different in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, so if both BJP and JDU parties combine in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, JDU should get 25 out of 40 seats in Bihar.
The debate between the BJP and the JDU over the seats has increased so much that JDU leader Sanjay Singh has even said that if the BJP does not need alliance with JDU then they (BJP) can contest the election alone in all the 40 seats. In view of the way BJP has lost in the by polls, JDU says that in 2019, the situation is different from 2014. Therefore, BJP should give 25 seats to JDU out of 40, considering it (JDU) a big brother in Bihar.
After the statements of JDU leader, we have to see what the reaction come from the BJP. Because if BJP gives 25 seats out of 40 to JDU in Bihar in 2019 Lok Sabha election, nothing will remain to BJP. Because if there is a coalition then the Lok Janshakti Party and the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party will also have their seat share in such a way that nothing will be for BJP. It is necessary to see what the BJP plans for Bihar in 2019. May be that in 2019 Lok Sabha election, BJP can alone contest in Bihar.
