As per intelligence sources, Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists enter in India to attack on Amarnath pilgrims

JUNE 25 (WTN) - Amarnath yatra is to be started from June 28. Earlier, there has been a great disclosure of the plot of the terrorist attack on Amarnath Yatra. According to the media, it is reported from intelligence sources that about 20 militants have entered into the PoK this month to carry out the attack on Amarnath pilgrims.

After this intelligence report, all the security agencies have been alerted. According to the information, the intelligence agency has specifically issued an alert for the terrorist attack on Amarnath Yatra. According to intelligence sources, terror groups have been admitted in to the PoK in two groups. In the first group 11 to 13 and in the second group is reported to have entered into 6-7 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists.

According to the media sources, the Lashkar-e-Taiba can attack at 'Kangan', a place on the Amarnath yatra route. This place falls on the Baltal route. According to the information, the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists’ infiltrated by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI from ‘launch pad’. All the security agencies protecting in the Amarnath yatra are kept on alert.

There was a meeting in the home ministry today regarding the situation of Amarnath yatra and Valley. In the meeting with home minister Rajnath Singh, other top officials, including home secretary, IB chief, were present. The first jatha of pilgrims will depart from Bhagwati Nagar base camp for Amarnath yatra.

In the wake of terror attacks, this year, the vehicles being used in the Amarnath Yatra will be tracked by tracking chip. A 60-day journey for the holy Amarnath cave, at the height of 3,880 meters at the Himalayas, is going to be started from 28th June. Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir governor N.N.Vohra visited various camps of annual Amarnath yatra. He reviewed the travel safety and other arrangements.
