Siddaramaiah’s statement has ‘meaning’!
JUNE 28 (WTN) - After the formation of government in Karnataka, the differences between the Congress and the JDS are still going on. In order to keep the BJP away from power, both the Congress and JDS parties have joined the coalition government, but due to ‘differences’ from time to time, it seems that the government of the Congress and JDS may fall any time.
According to the information, there are differences between the two parties on the ‘budget’ and many other issues. Between the increasing differences every day, Congress and JDS senior leaders will discuss together in Bangalore on Sunday. It is believed that in this meeting the efforts of senior leaders of both parties will be to finalize the minimum common program of coalition government.
A statement of former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah has remained in the discussion these days. A few days ago he had said, "Because of the tension in the alliance, he suspects that this government can hardly complete its term." Siddaramaiah had said, "This (government) will remain till the parliamentary elections are over after that, all the developments will happen.
Here, Karnataka state Congress president G. Parameshwar said on this claim of Siddaramaiah, "As President (Congress unit of the state), I am explaining that we have agreed to run this government for five years. What other people are saying out is irrelevant”
According to information received from the media, in this meeting of the Congress and JDS, between the two parties, apart from removing mutual differences, the meeting may be held for common minimum program is finalized. For your information, let you know that the coordination and monitoring committee meeting has been convened in Karnataka a day before the assembly session starting from July 2.
In recent days, statements have been given by the leaders of both the parties which are convincingly that everything is ‘not well’ in this coalition. In fact, according to sources, former chief minister Siddaramaiah is upset that the Congress-JDS alliance chief minister H.D.Kumaraswamy is going to present a new budget. While Congress leaders say that the interim budget presented by Siddaramaiah as chief minister in February was complete.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi had intervened during the differences on the budget, after which Karnataka chief minister Kumaraswamy got ready to form a new budget. But it is believed that the kind of statements are coming from Karnataka Congress leaders, it seems that the coming time will be the ‘difficult’ for the Congress-JDS coalition.
