‘Wait and watch’ politics in Bihar!

Will BJP be ready for JDU’s ‘demand’?

JUNE 30 (WTN) - The way in the Karnataka, the Congress and JDS coalition governments are getting reports of tension in the government; the same is not going well between the JDU and the BJP coalition government in the Bihar. JDU leaders' statements are continuously coming to the notice of Bihar's 40 seats for the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

JDU says that JDU in Bihar is in the position of ‘elder brother’, so in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, JDU should get 25 seats out of 40 in the NDA quota for contesting the election. There is a ‘message’ from the statement of JDU leaders coming out with the sharing of seats that there is a ‘crack’ in the NDA in Bihar.

But senior BJP leader and former union minister Shahnawaz Hussain has dismissed speculation that NDA has a ‘crack’ in Bihar. Hussain said, “The sharing of seats between the coalition parties will be negotiated at the appropriate time”. BJP's national spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain said, “There is unity in the coalition and they will fight together in the coming Lok Sabha election to make Narendra Modi again the Prime Minister.”

Shahnawaz Hussain said, "BJP and JDU are ‘united’ and will ‘remain’. There should be no doubt in this regard about anyone. We (BJP, JDU, LJP, RLSP) will contest together in the 2019 Lok Sabha election to make Narendra Modi prime minister again.

Shahnawaz Hussain further said, "The process of interrogation on the issue of seat sharing has not started at any level till now. It will be discussed at the appropriate time.” For your information, let you know that few days before, JDU leader Sanjay Singh had even told that even if JDU did not contest the 25 seats out of 40 seats in the NDA quota in the Lok Sabha election in Bihar, The BJP alone can contest on 40 seats.

Asked about some statement from JDU leaders about Nitish Kumar lead JDU to contest in the Lok Sabha election, Shahnawaz Hussain said, "The top leadership of the two parties will decide on these issues." Shahnawaz Hussain said, "On the issue of seat sharing in NDA, Congress and RJD are trying to create illusions in the minds of the people."

From time to time, statements by JDU leaders are coming that in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, JDU should get 25 seats out of 40 seats in NDA quota. If BJP gives 25 out of 40 seats to JDU, then after sharing seats to Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party and Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Samata Party, BJP will get fewer than 10 seats in the NDA quota; in this situation BJP will not be ready.

It is believed that JDU is playing a ‘game of pressure politics’ before the Lok Sabha election. JDU knows that BJP will not give 25 out of 40 seats to JDU at any cost. It is believed that if JDU's ‘pressure politics’ gets successful, JDU will be successful in contesting election in more and more seats in Lok Sabha election. Well look forward to what happens in Bihar's politics.
