26 seats or 16 seats !
JULY 18 (WTN) - The central leadership of the Congress has accepted that state leaders are not in a position to defeat the BJP on their own in the Madhya Pradesh assembly election. Congress is far from the power in the Madhya Pradesh form 15 consecutive years. But this time, Congress does not want to leave any chance to defeat BJP. To beat BJP, Congress has its own strategy for Madhya Pradesh assembly election. Rahul Gandhi, who is aware of the factionalism of Congress leaders in the state, has decided for coalition with the BSP for the assembly election.
According to information received from the media, Congress has agreed to give BSP about 26 out of 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh assembly election in those areas where BSP has its base, the areas are Gwalior-Chambal, Bundelkhand and Vidhya.
According to sources, it has been decided at the central level that the BSP will get 26 seats under coalition. But the Congress leaders of Madhya Pradesh seem to be in favor of that the only 14 to 16 seats should be given to BSP. According to opposition leader in the Madhya Pradesh assembly Ajay Singh, in the area where the BSP has influence, the Congress should give seats to the BSP, but Ajay Singh says that the alliance of 14 to 16 seats is justified with the BSP.
According to Ajay Singh, in the 2013 assembly election, the BSP had won four seats in Madhya Pradesh and was in second place in 11 seats. In such a situation, the alliance with the BSP should be held in 14 to 16 seats only.
It seems that the leaders of the Madhya Pradesh Congress are not in the mood to coalition with the BSP, and if they are in the mood of the coalition, so then they are not in favor of giving more than 14 to 16 seats. On the other hand, it is believed that BSP may not be ready to co-ordinate with fewer than 20 seats. Now it is interesting to see whether Rahul Gandhi concedes to the leaders of Madhya Pradesh and convinces the BSP for 14 to 16 seats.
