Central government gives permission to increase the vehicle's carrying capacity by 20-25%

JULY 18 (WTN) – After few months, transport costs through heavy vehicles and trucks in India can be reduced. If this happens then the goods transported by them will be cheap and inflation will be controlled. We are saying that because the Modi government has increased the capacity of freight vehicles and trucks by 20 to 25 percent.

For your information, let us know that logistics costs are very high in India compared to overseas. In developed countries where it is 8 percent, in India it is up to 13 to 14 percent. It is believed that the new rules of government will reduce the logistics cost by about two percent.

The Modi government has now made the carriage of heavy vehicles and trucks according to global standards. It is believed that by doing this the logistics costs will be reduced. Not only that, the central government has decided that fitness certificate of truck will now be compulsory in every two year instead of one year.

Now talk about access load rule, so the last time it was amended in 1983. Now 35 years later, this rule has been amended. It is believed that the quality of the roads and the capacity of the vehicles have been increased significantly in the country, due to that it is logical to increase the loading capacity of vehicles.

Since this new rule of government, 16 tons of vehicles will be able to take up to 19 tons of weight. At the same time, vehicles carrying 25 tonnes can carry up to 28.5 tons and carrying 37 tonnes will be able to take up to 42 tonnes. It is believed that this decision of the government will help to prevent corruption.

According to information received from the media, union transport minister Nitin Gadkari says that India needs to make it’s axle load according to international standards. If this is done, it will increase the loading capacity of vehicles by 20-25% and the loading cost will be less. According to the information, states will be issued advisory to implement this decision. Strict action will be taken against those who break these rules.
