Baloch people to 'boycott' general election in Pakistan

Tuesday - July 24, 2018 1:38 pm , Category : WTN SPECIAL

Kashmir is not ‘core issue’ in Pakistan general election

JULY 24 (WTN) - In India's neighboring country, Pakistan will be voting for the general election tomorrow. For India perspective, Pakistan's elections are very important, which party will win? And who will become the prime minister of Pakistan? In Pakistan, going through bad economic times, this time election will decide Pakistan's 'condition' and 'direction' for the future.

This year, many Baloch activists have appealed to the people of Balochistan, who have demanded their 'rights' in Pakistan for years, to boycott the general election. Baloch activists allege that Pakistan is responsible for the 'massacre' of people of Balochistan.

Many Baloch activists have urged people from Balochistan to ‘boycott’ Pakistan's general election on July 25. The President of the World Baloch Women Forum, Naela Qadri Baloch, says, “Our free & sovereign country was occupied by Pakistan & Pakistan is violating all International laws”

Not only that, Naela Qadri Baloch says, “Pakistan is responsible for genocide of Baloch people. To show that Baloch people are part of their Parliamentary process, they are forcefully abducting them, displacing Baloch villages & taking them to Army camps for forceful casting of votes. Baloch people don't want to be part of Pak.”

Here, the president of the Baloch Voice Association, Munir Mengal says, “Elections are tailored & manipulated by Pak Army through its orgs like Inter-Services Intelligence & Military Intelligence. People of Balochistan are already disappointed with elections process as it's a clear selection process in Balochistan.”

For your information, let you know that voting will be held in the neighboring country of Pakistan tomorrow. There are 3,675 candidates for the Pakistan National Assembly, and 8,895 candidates for the provincial assemblies. This time the Kashmir issue in the Pakistan general election is not as special as it has been earlier, but this time relations with China are more important. It is believed that the issue of CPEC is the most important for all parties this time in Pakistan elections.
