July 24 (WTN) - 'Finland' is the only country in the world where father spends more time with his kids than mother. As per the information received the fact has been come out that it was the third best country for the working mother. Experts believe that political motivation, strong traditions of social democracy and many other such aspects are responsible.
People in Finland believe that the father plays a 'key role' in the child's development. Keeping this in view, there is a provision of giving a nine-week paternity leave to the father. During this, he gets 70 percent salary. Simultaneously, many campaigns have been started to make aware of this scheme.
In this country women's rights are given special preferences. This was the second country in the world, which gave the right to vote to women first. Simultaneously, by giving political rights to women in the year 1906, this became the first country in the world to do so.
At the same time, there is one more fact to consider that when a child takes birth in this country then the parents does not have to worry about medical bills. As medical checkups of pregnant women are free of cost and the charges of the baby's birth are very low here.
On the other hand, in other countries these charges are very high. Here the government provides 'Baby Box' to parents at the time of child birth that consist many baby products.
