Tips to take care of your smart phone when it is exposed to rain or water

WTN- During monsoon, most people some time or the other expose their smart phones to water. Either during driving the phone gets wet or at times it falls down in water.
Here are some tips to save your phone-
Do not try to dry the phone from the dryer. Do not use the headphone jack and phone's USB port until the phone is completely dry.

Here are some tips to save your phone-
- If the phone is exposed to rain and some water penetrates in some part of phone, first thing you should do is to switch it off.
- After switching it off take out all the accessories from the phone like SIM card or Multimedia card. In phones where the vattery can be removed, do that too
- Wipe out water with help of tissue paper, soft towel or any cloth that can absorb water. You can also use vacuum machine (very carefully) to pull water.
- Turn on the phone only when you feel that it is completely dry. In case its not turning on, use charger to charge for some time.
