The 'crowd' of the claimants for the ticket
JULY 26 (WTN) - You must have heard a saying, “one pomegranate and hundred sick”. Something similar is happening in the Madhya Pradesh Congress these days. We are saying that because on an average 12 to 13 candidates are presenting their ‘claims’ for each assembly seat in the Congress. In such a situation, more than 3200 claimants have filed their claim for 230 assembly seats.
Congress is far from the power in Madhya Pradesh since ‘15 consecutive years’, the Congress does not want to leave any chance to ‘defeat’ the BJP this time. For this, Congress has laid down a lot of ‘conditions’ for ticket distribution. Till now, there have been only ‘ten conditions’ on the basis of which the decision of the ticket is being taken from the Congress side. But now a ‘new condition’ has also been emerged, after completion of this condition, the candidate will be considered as claimant.
According to information from the media, Congress will give ticket to the same candidate, who will be the member of the ‘National Herald’. According to the information, to become a member of ‘National Herald’, a bank draft of Rs.2,000 will be given by the candidate.
It is believed that by the end of August, Congress can release its first list of candidates. This is because the candidates get the time to campaign. According to the information, in the first list, those 70 seats will be included where Congress has been losing ‘three consecutive’ elections.
Let you know that the case of the ‘National Herald’ is ‘highly controversial’ and it is linked to the ‘Gandhi family’. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy had filed the case against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, their companies and those related to her/him in the National Herald case. Swamy has accused Gandhi family in this case saying that Gandhi family ‘illegally’ used the properties of the National Herald.
Six people, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Sam Pitroda, Motilal Vora and Suman Dubey, have been accused in this case. For your information, let you know that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are on ‘bail’ in this case.
In the National Herald case, Subramaniam Swamy filed an application in the court and ‘alleged’ that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had ‘seized’ assets worth Rs.2,000 crore from the National Herald in the name of’ giving ‘loans’ to the Congress party.
There will be big debate on the condition of congressional candidates’ ‘being member’ of the ‘National Herald’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been targeting Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, from time to time, in the ‘National Herald’ case. It will be interesting to see now, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come for campaigning in the Madhya Pradesh assembly election, what will he say in this matter?
